Position:Maintenance Assistant
Location: Nottingham, NG
Salary: 25,500
Hours: 45 per week
On Call: No on-call required
Contract: Working on 1 hospital, 7 GP sites
Working Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm
Other Details:
- Holiday: 25 days plus 8 bank holidays
- Overtime: Uncapped, 1.5 rate
- Transport: Van + fuel card provided (non-personal use)
- Travel Time: 30 minutes unpaid each way
Requirements/Qualifications:
- GCSE standard education
- Building Trade Qualification (NVQ/City & Guilds)
- Previous experience in General Building repairs
Day-to-Day Duties:
- Prioritize and complete minor maintenance and repair work
- Accurately complete necessary documentation
- Ensure all tools and equipment for maintenance are available and in working order
- Assist with general repairs and maintenance
- Comply with health and safety procedures
- Uphold quality standards in work
- Identify non-repairable issues and provide alternative recommendations
- Respond promptly to service call requests
- Handle any other reasonable requests from your Line Manager
