Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Assistantto join our client's Site Team. As a valued member of the team, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the site's safety and aesthetics through both reactive and proactive maintenance tasks.
Working Hours and Compensation:
- Contracted 40 hours per week, with flexible scheduling including weekends.
- Hourly wage up to 12.00.

Maintenance Assistant Key Responsibilities:
- Perform various maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, plastering, and general repairs to ensure the site's safety and appearance.
- Execute small building projects as required across all company sites.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance requests, prioritizing tasks as directed by the Estates Manager.
- Proactively maintain gates, fences, farm grounds, and animal enclosures.
- Ensure machinery and tools are well-maintained, cleaned, and ready for use at all times.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and electronic forms accurately and promptly.
- Uphold cleanliness, safety, and tidiness across the site.
- Demonstrate a commitment to Health and Safety protocols, serving as an example to the team.
- Remain flexible in duties to support overall business operations.
- Assist with animal care and vehicle maintenance when required.
Ideal Qualifications and Skills:
- Valid UK Driving Licence.
- Tractor License and Telehandler qualification preferred.
- Chainsaw Certificate desirable.
- Relevant Site Maintenance qualification or equivalent experience.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Previous experience in site maintenance or building construction.
- Proven track record of adhering to safe working practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and practical aptitude.
