ShareThe Department of Campus Infrastructure is responsible for the maintenance and development of the University's buildings, and are currently seeking to appoint Maintenance Assistants to support the team, undertaking planned and unplanned maintenance such as general repairs and minor plumbing in accommodation buildings, and safety testing.
We would like to hear from you if you
- have practical hands-on DIY skills and the necessary vocational training and experience to undertake routine repairs
- are familiar with and happy to work in the built environment, able to identify and remedy a variety of maintenance tasks and keep all affected informed of the situation
- have a flexible approach to work and a willingness to undertake training to improve knowledge
- are committed to the role and able to work individually and as part of a team
- have good problem solving, customer service and communication skills
Further information
This role is offered on a full time (36.5 hours per week) permanent basis, Monday-Friday.
