Maintenance Electrician

Job title:Maintenance ElectricianLocation:Scotstoun/GovanSalary: £36,217 (plus 33% shift allowance if applicable) What you'll be doing:

Carrying out the electrical maintenance and repair of various hi-tech/critical machines onsite

Using, installing, and maintaining both workshop machinery and the general plant

Installing and maintaining electrical systems within the sites building and yard

Complying with SHE guidelines and ensuring to carry out all tasks safely

Completing all tasks to the required standard and quality, whilst meeting completion dates

Assisting supervisors with shop floor related issues as and when required

Your skills and experiences:Essential:

Time served 3-4-year electrical apprenticeship (with ability to provide papers)

Experience of electrical maintenance in an industrial/manufacturing environment

Proficient in reading and understanding electrical drawings

Ability to work at height

Desirable:

Understanding of manufacturing processes

Safety certification i.e. SHE induction, COSHH awareness, working at height
