SalaryAn Ebbw Vale based food manufacturer are looking to recruit an experienced multi skilled Maintenance Engineer for their modern production facility.
As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.
- 4 on 4 off - Days and Nights (12 hour shifts) (2days, 2 nights, then 4 off)
This is a great opportunity to work in a modern food manufacturer that is seeing significant investment being made across multiple sites in the group with the aim of becoming number one in their sector.
- Salary of c£40,500
Key responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:
- Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimised
- Ensure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in full
- Ensure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followed
- Ensure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMS
- Work closely with production staff to achieve daily targets
- Contribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvements
Experience and skills required:
- Qualified Maintenance Engineer with C&G’s or BTEC Level 3 or ideally HNC / HND level
- Multi skilled, mechanical and electrical skills / experience
- Apprenticeship trained
- Proactive attitude to solving issues and supporting production
- FMCG / Food manufacturing experience would be desired, but not essential
