As part of their continued growth, they are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join their dedicated team.

Position Overview:

We are looking for a talented Maintenance Engineer who will be responsible for providing day-to-day engineering support, and be responsible for troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering, excellent problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach to maintenance and safety.

Responsibilities:

• Provide day-to-day engineering support to ensure the smooth operation of machinery and factory facilities.
• Conduct PUWER (Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations) assessments to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Perform PAT (Portable Appliance Testing) testing on electrical equipment to ensure safety and compliance.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical faults to identify root causes and implement effective solutions.
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to prevent breakdowns and optimise performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to coordinate maintenance activities and minimise disruptions to operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and repairs.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and new technologies through continuous learning and professional development.

Requirements:

• Qualifications in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with PUWER regulations and PAT testing procedures.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
