AddressMaintenance Engineer (Electrical bias)- Lutterworth - £44,000 - £50,000 per year
We require an electrical Maintenance Engineer to support a well known distribution business to keep operations running smoothly whilst working on cutting edge automation technology. Must be able to work both autonomously whilst liaising with multiple departments, planning, maintaining, repairing and maximizing plant/machinery performance to keep facilities in optimum condition.
Main Duties:
- Effective fault finding, diagnosis, analysis and efficient corrective measures are implemented.
- Updating and maintaining internal maintenance system.
- Ensuring controls and processes are in line with Health & Safety, Quality and Regulatory Compliance - COSHH, RAMS, etc
- Ensuring all preventative checks are conducted OTIF
- Manage contractors on site (direct & 3rd party)
- Must be qualified/able to sign off on completed works
Skills / qualifications:
- Electrical and/or Mechanical bias BTEC Level 3+
- Previous experience of facilities & Maintenance Engineering within an automated distribution, food or manufacturing environment.
- Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of electromechanical equipment (eg conveyors, sorters, box cutters, etc)
- Effectively fault find through root cause analysis and implement quick preventive solutions.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Display strong PC skills (Microsoft office/ BMS/ Maintenance Engineering software)
- Any experience of PLC controls, programming or operating with Allen Bradley equipment would be highly advantageous.
Shifts:
Panama rotation - 06:00-18:00 / 14:30-02:30
