Your new companyWorking for a long established and independent business who specialist in the manufacture of animal feed supplying farming partners across the UK. This business employee over 250 people across sites across the UK.Your new roleWorking as a Maintenance Engineer on a working pattern of 4 on 4 off (6am - 18.00 or 10am to 22pm) an average of 42 hours per week , you will proactively carry out all aspects of plant maintenance to a planned schedule, you will consistently liase with production teams addressing breakdowns or interruptions to production and dealing promptly with any issues. You will ensure all relevant maintenance records are accurately recorded to ensure legal compliance and to ensure a safe working environment and ensure full resource of materials and equipment, liaising with suppliers where appropriate.What you'll need to succeedYou will have completed and apprenticeship or hold relevant qualifications in both mechanical and electrical engineering (minimum 18th edition certified), you will have gained experience within a production/manufacturing environment, have experience of CMMS systems and be able to operate safely and adhere to quality control procedures and KPI's.
