Our global Distribution team is responsible for delivering our customers the products they love, efficiently, and sustainably, all over the world. We’ve made significant investments in automation technology at our Castle Donington Distribution Centre and are looking for an onsite Maintenance Engineer to join our team.Our Maintenance Engineers ensure everything runs efficiently onsite, and carry out reactive, preventative, and predictive maintenance, both electrical and mechanical, across an extensive range of automated equipment.
Our Engineers work a rolling shift pattern which involves a mixture of earlies 6.00am to 18.00pm and through the nights 18.00pm to 6.00am. With 4 and 5 day breaks in between shifts.

What you’ll do
Your key accountabilities will include
- Put health and safety first continually raising awareness of hazards and resolving potential safety issues
- Comfortable working at heights of 25 metres
- Work with a team of Engineers, Inspections Technicians and Senior Engineers to resolve reactive breakdowns, carry out planned preventative and corrective maintenance in a highly automated environment.
- Use root cause analysis tools to drive reliability through delivery of continuous improvement projects
- Work collaboratively and liaise with other site functions ensuring we deliver for our customers every day
- Develop yourself and others with the support of our onsite Training Team
Who you are
Your skills and experience will include
- You will need to be multi-skilled, and be able to provide evidence of recognised training in both Mechanical and Electrical Engineering
- Have completed a recognised Apprenticeship in an appropriate Engineering field
- Able to demonstrate a continuous improvement approach and be able to deal with conflicting priorities with ease in a fast paced, constantly evolving environment
- Enjoy mentoring and developing others and working as part of a team to achieve tangible results
