Maintenance Engineer Days

Our client are a growing manufacturer in the agri sector who are recruiting a Maintenance Engineer to join the plant maintenance team.

The successful candidate will carry out planned, preventative and reactive maintenance on a range of plant production equipment.

Monday to Friday days with Saturdays on a rota of 1 in 2 (Saturdays normally finish 1pm)

Suitable candidates will need to be qualified in mechanical, electrical or engineering discipline along with maintenance experience in similar industrial/ factory settings.

The Role

• Planned maintenance on production equipment
• Reactive maintenance, responding to breakdowns and trouble shooting issues
• Actively participate in process improvements and engineering improvements
• Rectify faults quickly and by priority, working with production colleagues to minimise downtime
• Complete maintenance records as required
• Organise and keep a tidy stores area
• Work in line with health & safety practice

What we are looking for

• Qualified in Mechanical, Electrical or Engineering
• Maintenance experience working on production plant equipment
• Strong mechanical and hydraulic knowledge
• Experience with electrical systems is desirable
• Can fault find issues accurately and work quickly under pressure
