Position Summary:
Repairing and maintaining production and ancillary equipment, property and facilities ensuring
downtime is kept to a minimum and in line with the requirements of the production process and
plan.
Roles to include;
* Creating PPM schedules, maintaining accurate maintenance records and completing data entry records within appropriate timescales
* Undertaking Maintenance of Robotics and Electrically Controlled Food Processing and Handling systems
* Reactive repair to keep downtime to a minimum
* Responding to requests from production and Maintenance Leads for engineering assistance, monitoring visual management boards to ensure priority items are dealt with
* Working with the production teams to improve their capability and knowledge of the equipment
* Ability to quickly identify problems, perform root cause analysis to stop repeat failures
Desirable Experience:
* Demonstrable experience gained within a food manufacturing environment
* City & Guilds Level 3 or higher in electrical engineering. Ideally multi-skilled
* Excellent communication skills combined with logical problem-solving skills
