About the Role:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical expertise to join our client-dynamic team. As a key member of our maintenance department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of a plant and facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance tasks to uphold plant and facility standards
- Meet targets for plant downtime
- Uphold safety and cleanliness standards in the workplace
- Manage and enhance plant and facility operations in compliance with safety guidelines
- Oversee engineering stores and inventory management
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Utilise CMM systems for reporting and recording tasks
- Foster positive relationships with various departments within the organisation
- Provide engineering solutions and cost-effective repairs
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to optimise plant performance
About You:
- Completion of a time-served apprenticeship, preferably in a multi-skilled capacity
- NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Strong awareness of safety, health, and environmental standards
- Proficiency in fault-finding techniques
- Familiarity with TPM and PPM systems
- Solid IT skills
- Ability to work effectively within a team environment
