Maintenance Engineer Mon - Fri

Our client are one of the UK's largest food producers who are seeking to recruit a Maintenance Engineer to join their engineering team.

Electrical bias is preferred but we are also open to mechnaical candidates with good multi-skilled / mechatronic experience.

Monday to Friday shift pattern covering early & lates:

Week 1: 5am - 1.30pm

Week 2: 12pm - 8.30pm

Competitive salary package with higher rates for multi-skilled engineers

The Role

• Maintenance, repair and installation of production equipment
• Fault finding on electrical and mechanical systems
• Carry out preventative maintenance work, completing PM records and CMMS
• Work to good health, safety and hygiene standards
• Respond to breakdowns or technical issues quickly
• Contribute to continuous improvement and engineering projects
• Work across electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Problem solve and fault find effectively

What we are looking for

• Minimum Level 3 qualified in Electrical or Engineering discipline
• Proven maintenance experience in production, manufacturing or industrial setting
• Experience fault finding on automated PLC equipment
• Multi-skilled experience across electrical & mechanical systems
• Can work efficiently in a fast paced, high volume setting
• Food/ FMCG experience is beneficial
