Hours: 6:00-18:00 & 18:00-6:00 - 2-2-3 (Panama) shift pattern days and nights rotations

The Role:
- Electrical & Mechanical fault finding & rectification on plant machinery
- Conducting planned & preventative maintenance on an array of machinery including utilities (compressors, boilers, cooling towers, refrigeration etc), waste water treatment machinery and the general site facilities
- Installations & Repairs of mechanical and electrical equipment
- Mechanical & Electrical fault finding & rectification
- Managing the general site, implementing continuous improvement methods to ensure smooth running of the plant and minimise downtime
The Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years worth of experience as a Maintenance Engineer (essential)
- Previous experience working within a food manufacturing environment (essential)
- Proven mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and pneumatic capabilities (essential)
- Relevant Mechanical/Electrical Qualifications (City & Guilds/NVQ s/17th/18th edition) essential
- Knowledge and understanding of Lean manufacturing, preferably Six Sigma methodologies (essential)
- In depth understanding of fault finding/diagnostics on plant machinery
