Site Manager

My client is currently looking for a freelance Site Manager to finish off an commercial scheme in Wakefield. This is a fast track project which consists of ground works , internals, mezzanine floor, ceilings, painting and managing electrical first fix on a £4 million Industrial Unit. Previous experience on similar projects desirable. 

Role: Site Manager 

Duration: 4 months 

Payment: CIS payments available 

Value: £4 million 

Responsibilities:

As a Construction Site Manager, you will be responsible for:

• Manage all aspects of construction on site through to completion, ensuring adherence to design specifications, safety regulations, and project time-lines.
• Lead and motivate on-site teams, including subcontractors.
• Monitor project budgets and costs, identifying and addressing any potential issues.
• Enforce and promote strict adherence to safety protocols and regulations. Conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to maintain a safe work environment.
• Serve as a primary point of contact between the company and clients. Provide regular updates on project progress, address concerns, and ensure overall client satisfaction.
• Develop and maintain project program

Required experience and qualifications:

• CSCS Card, SMSTS & First Aid
• Proven experience as a Construction Site Manager with a successful track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, safety regulations, and quality control measures.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
