The basics:
Job Titel: Maintenance Engineer
Location: Nottingham
Pay: £38000 to £42000 DOE
Contracted hours per week: 37.5hrs
Hours: start times can be flexible – usually between 6am and 7:30am. Monday to Thursday 8hrs and Friday 5.5hrs
Overtime: paid at 1.5 Mon-Sat and double on Sundays
Holidays: 33 days
Benefits: Profit related bonus, pension scheme, death in service x4 of salary
Overview
Working for a manufacturing business that have plants across the Globe, we now require an additional Maintenance Engineer to join the team.
Key responsibilities of the Maintenance Engineer role:
To maintain service and repair all automated plant machinery to minimise production down time.
Provide technical support on all projects, installations and breakdowns
PPM’s
The ideal candidate / Maintenance Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:
- Apprentice trained or NVQ level 3 or above
- Previous experience working on automated process machinery or similar
- Strong machinery fault finding skills
Commutable from: Nottingham, Ilkeston, Hucknall, Heanor and surrounding areas.
