Highbury Recruitment are working with a new Client who require 4 Time Served/Qualified Maintenance Engineers in Bristol.The successful candidates will be offered the opportunity to join an established multi-disciplinary engineering company with experience in design, installation and maintenance of cutting edge solutions for the Aviation Sector.Maintenance Engineers in this instance are responsible for ensuring the continuous operation of security equipment and machinery. As part of this role, you will be expected to:- Work with automated and specialist equipment (PLC)- Oversee routine maintenance and respond to equipment faults- Diagnose breakdown problems and organise repairs, preventing further breakdowns- Manage and appropriately deal with any emergencies- Ensure all health and safety policies and procedures are adhered to- Ensure there is continuous cover of the security lanes and other equipment in case of breakdowns- Monitoring stock levels of spare parts- Ensuring maximum lane up-time and reliability- Working to project plans and ensuring all project deadlines are metSkills and ExperienceTo be considered for this role, the ideal candidate will have 1 year+ overall experience in a similar role, plus the following:- Hands on person- Flexible and able to travel within UK when required- Strong work ethic- Good communication skills- Good organisational and interpersonal skills- Able to use own initiative- Good time management skillsPlease note that you might be occasionally expected to travel away from site to UK airports including Gatwick, Bristol and Edinburgh (expenses will be covered by the company).
