Maintenance Instrument Technician

Location: Dalry

Key Activities: What should the role holder do to achieve the business goals


As an Instrument Technician, you will be joining the existing Maintenance team, supporting plant operations ensuring a high level of pant availability through reactive, repairs and carry out preventative maintenance program. The site has a diverse range of Ex rated equipment, which provides a large variety of work. Duties included within this role, but not limited to the following:

  • Respond to plant breakdowns as required to identify and resolve faults on instrumentation equipment.
  • Carry out routine PMs and Calibrations on plant equipment.
  • Ensure all maintenance activities are completed in a timely manner and all information is recorded.
  • Conduct must be kept in line site safety procedures at all time.

Qualifications


  • Experience of work within the Pharmaceutical, Process, Oil & Gas, Plant or Power Generation industries
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working in a Maintenance role.
  • Proactive and flexible work approach.


Preferred

  • CCNSG Safety Passport.
  • Extensive (10+ years) experience of site E&I activities in Oil & Gas, PetroChem, Pharmaceutical or other regulated industry.
  • HNC Instrumentation and Controls.


Essential

  • Experienced in maintaining process instrumentation.
  • COMPEX 1-4.
  • Recognised Apprenticeship NVQ Level 3 or equivalent.
