An interim Maintenance Manager is required to lead, co-ordinate and develop the relationship with contractors for the delivery of the repairs service, including working closely with the Repairs & Servicing Manager to ensure excellent service delivery on void homes and responsive maintenance.

Our client is a large public sector organisation based in Lancashire. The client in question owns over 6000 social housing properties across the region.
Description
- Provide Leadership and support to the repairs and maintenance infrastructure working closely between the Repairs & Servicing Manager, repairs team, and contractors to improve service delivery for repairs and voids.
- Commission and manage a range of external contractors to investigate the repairs needed on the providers housing stock.
- To ensure that contract terms are adhered to and ensure the client and contractors are complying with their respective obligations.
- Ensure that all works are delivered within timescales and within agreed financial parameters, ensuring high quality standards, and achieving value for money in line with all relevant statutory regulations and H&S compliance.
- Oversee all health and safety works for CDM, occupational health and Safety, and compliance works delivered by the internal repairs team and contractors. to include but not limited to
- Ensure effective management of surveyors and contractors
Profile
A successful Interim Contracts & Delivery Manager should have:
- Knowledge and qualifications in Building Surveying or relevant experience
- Previous experience in contract management and service delivery within social housing.
- Strong organisational and management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of the public sector and its regulatory environment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
Job Offer
- A daily rate of £225 - £275 per day.
