We are seeking a dedicated Maintenance Manager to oversee the operational efficiency of our clients\' campus spanning across two sites. As the Maintenance Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless functioning of facilities, managing a team of skilled professionals, and implementing preventative maintenance programs and managing engineering functions including both internal and relevant contractors/ related budgets.
Your new role
Includes and is not limited to :
- Supervise and coordinate maintenance activities across both sites.
- Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to maximise equipment reliability.
- Manage a team of maintenance staff, fostering a collaborative and safety-focused work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Budget management for maintenance-related expenditures and budgets.
- Contribute to strategic Infrastructure and Master Planning, cyclical replacement planning in the context of the University's wider strategic plan.
- Work with a team on compliance and H&S including (L8) Legionella / asbestos management.
What you need to succeed
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge across various maintenance disciplines.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
- Familiarity with budgeting and cost control.
- Bachelor\'s degree in Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field/ experience in the field.
- Relevant certifications in maintenance management are a plus.
