Job Title: Engineering Maintenance Team Leader
Location: Aldermaston
Hours of Work: 0745-1630 (1615 on Friday)
Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Engineering Maintenance Team Leader to ensure the development and implementation of new and innovative techniques at Aldermaston.
The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maximizing operational efficiency, supporting Site Safety, Health, and Environment initiatives.
Principle Accountabilities:
- Lead and develop the Company Engineering Maintenance team, ensuring effective communication, training, and development of staff.
- Support and develop a managed, cost-effective maintenance program for site services buildings, plant, systems, and equipment.
- Evaluate customer requirements, produce proposals, and monitor the progress of planned maintenance and remedial works.
- Provide engineering services for site refurbishment and equipment installations, with a focus on energy savings.
- Support Health, Safety, and Environment, and risk management processes.
- Ensure continuity of essential site systems and equipment.
- Support the Account Manager in meeting HR, budget, and reporting requirements.
- Develop partnerships with suppliers, rationalize the supplier database, and identify training and development needs.
- Establish and review service level agreements and key performance indicators to maintain a high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
- Contribute to an effective change management program for key business elements.
- Maintain day-to-day contact with customer representatives and attend meetings as directed.
- Review all Contractor Service Reports, ensuring satisfactory conclusion to identified issues.
- Responsible for all electrical infrastructure under Company control on site.
- Manage water management on site, acting as Responsible Person for Legionella control.
- Update and monitor the Engineering Archive, liaising with Safety and Contract Coordinator.
- Be available for emergency call-outs and manage the shift call-out rota.
- Deputize for the Account Manager as required.
Person Specification:Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum NVQ Level 4 or equivalent in an electrical discipline.
- Good knowledge of Maintenance Management disciplines.
- Commercial awareness and budget management skills.
