Hours:  Rotating shifts –  06:15  –  14:15  /  14:15  –  22:15

Temporary to Permanent position

Total Recruit Ltd are recruiting for a Maintenance Manufacturing Lead to join this major, leading manufacturing business in Mirfield.

Main Responsibilities include:

• First Line Maintenance, overseeing three lines, issuing tracking and escalation
• Oversee the machines during operation to ensure quality production and minimal unplanned stops.
• Operating the machines in accordance with the established procedures and guidelines, ensuring all health, safety and housekeeping requirements are met for the machines.
• Drive and maintain high standard‘s.
• Perform periodic checks on the equipment and solve problems as they arise.
• Maintain, monitor and troubleshooting on the machines to make sure it functions correctly and efficiently including performing preventative maintenance.
• Communicate with other team members to ensure continuous production of the correct product at high quality levels with minimal wasted time and materials.
• Ensure the machines achieves their targeted production output while ensuring quality is maintained and all quality control standards followed.
• Follow Continuous Improvement and modern Manufacturing principles.
• Escalate issues where necessary to the Shift Manager.
• Achieve machine production targets and goals
• Flexibility to operate multi machines and to cover job roles, holidays, absences and breaks.

RequiredSkillsandQualifications:

• You will be from a mechanical background with knowledge of Production Procedures.
• Organisation and attention to detail are necessary for the role.
• Basic computer skills.
• Flexible to cover shifts for holidays and absence.
• Ability to respond quickly and efficiently to problems that happen in a fast-paced production environment.
• Experience in a busy production or warehouse environment is an advantage.
• Can work independently but also as part of a team, be able to multitask and be willing to learn
