Maintenance Person
Days per week: Full time (35 hours per week) or part-time (3 Days per week)
Hours: 9-5pm daily with 1 hour unpaid for lunch
Locations: based in Hurst but travel within home counties - transport provided
Must have Clean Driving Licence
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Experience: knowledge of electrics and carpentry desirable but not essential

- Clean driving license essential

The Role
This role will mean completing general maintenance works orders across the property portfolio, including:
- Monitoring and reporting repairs required and ensuring these are completed
- Minor general repairs/maintenance tasks including touch up of scuff marks on communal walls/stairwells
- General repairs including replacing door closers, repairing carpet treads etc
- Minor carpentry jobs - repairs to bin/bike store doors etc
- Monthly and quarterly pro-active checks - light tests, tank temperature tests or fire door inspections
- Collection and disposal of excess waste and items
- Inter-office transport of supplies
- Jet washing of bin stores/car parks and patios.
- Liaising with external contractors to ensure works are carried out to the required standards
- Liaising with homeowners, leaseholders and the property manager on communal issues as required
