We are currently seeking skilled and dedicated Maintenance Operatives to join our client’s team at our care homes in Northampton. As a Maintenance Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetics of our care homes.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting regular maintenance checks and repairs in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Performing general maintenance tasks such as plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and painting
- Responding promptly to maintenance requests from residents and staff
- Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities and inventory
- Ensuring a clean and organized work environment
Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week no weekends or bank holidays
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Operative or similar role
- Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques
- Ability to use hand and power tools effectively
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
