Key Responsibilities:
Grounds Maintenance: Perform a range of Grounds Maintenance tasks including mowing, edging, pruning, weeding, and planting to maintain the overall appearance of outdoor spaces.
Equipment Operation: Operate and maintain Grounds Maintenance equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, and leaf blowers to ensure optimal performance.
Landscape Enhancement: Contribute to the improvement and enhancement of landscapes through planting, mulching, and other landscaping activities.
Routine Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of outdoor areas to identify and address any issues related to plant health, safety hazards, or general maintenance needs.
Seasonal Activities: Assist in seasonal tasks such as snow removal, leaf clearance, and other weather-related activities as required.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Grounds Maintenance or a related field.
- Ability to operate Grounds Maintenance equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks.
- Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labour in various weather conditions.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
