Job Title: Static Fabric Technician
CBRE Global Workplace Solutions is a leading global provider of integrated facilities and corporate real estate management. We are recruiting a Static Fabric Technician to join the team located in Sedgefield.
Role Summary:
Respond to reactive works within the teamEnsure maintenance tasks are completed within agreed timescalesLiaise with Clients representatives with respect to maintenance & repair tasksUndertake site surveys & produce Works Requests, Method Statements & Risk Assessments for planned worksRepairs floor and wall coveringsResponsible for ceiling tile repairs and replacementsResponsible for other building and installation works as requiredAccountable for lighting, general lamp changes, Filter Changes AHU's / FCU's and Basic Plumbing requirementsUtilise PDA to complete works, key communications & updatesComplete reactive, PPM jobs & projects in a timely mannerUndertake minor projects worksEnsure all works are carried out safely and in accordance with Health and Safety at Work RegulationsIn addition to the above duties you will be expected to undertake all reasonable tasks as directed by the Technical Services Manager
Experience Required:
Previous Fabric, Carpentry experienceExperience of working in high profile work environmentCity & Guilds or NVQ Equivalent in carpentryPC literateGood Customer relationship skillsUnderstand and interpret technical drawings/instructions / processesAble to organise self to manage assigned tasks, determine material requirementsExperience of H & S procedures & requirements. COSHH, Working at Heights, Risk Assessment etcHealth & Safety Qualified i.e. IOSH and/or NEBOSHMust be willing to work over & above contractual hours
