Job Role: Maintenance Planner

Our client, a renowned and admired manufacturing business of paper products, is currently hiring for a Maintenance Planner to join their growing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all maintenance work/actions are planned/scheduled 48 hours in advance to support operational efficiency, including contractor work.
- Set up a plan for each night shift prior to leaving the site.
- Manage the planning system (MX and shift log) to support department supervisors.
- Ensure availability of all parts for planned work.
- Lead the PR and ordering on-site, supported by supervisors and Insite stores team.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate all maintenance work 48 hours in advance.
- Coordinate planned and unplanned shutdowns.
- Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings and support department supervisors in maintenance meetings.
- Schedule internal and external resources, materials, and services.
- Communicate regularly with operations and maintenance departments.
- Maintain condition monitoring schedules and support maintenance engineers with TBM schedules.
- Lead ordering and designate required materials for planned maintenance activities.
- Set out work details, required resources, and labor hours.
- Ensure availability of drawings, manuals, and other documents.
- Support/supervise on-site store support and manage contractors in Mechanical and Electrical Departs.
- Create and review PM routines aligned with equipment criticality analyses.
- Ensure work orders are closed when completed.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years experience planning, computer literacy, time management, organisational and communication skills, leadership skills/driven attitude, effective teamwork, experience in using SAP/MX, experience in paper or continuous process-related industries.
- HNC/HND or equivalent.
- Experience with CMMS.
- Minimum Professional, Academic or Other Qualifications: Educated to HND/Apprenticeship level in Engineering.
