Job Role: Production Team Leader 

Job Type: Permanent 

Location: Chirnside 

Salary: £45,000 - £50,000

Our client, a renowned and admired manufacturing business of paper products, is currently hiring for a Production Team Leader. 

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure safety, quality, and production targets are met in a cost-effective manner.
• Oversee safe and efficient production runs, including restarts during interruptions.
• Provide leadership, motivation, and direction to the team.
• Support training and development initiatives for team members.
• Coordinate with maintenance to maximise operational efficiency.
• Plan efficient conversion of all products.
• Monitor water usage and implement corrective actions.
• Lead tier 1 meetings and maintain work areas to 5s standards.
• Participate in lean activities to improve processes.

Qualifications & Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in the paper making industry.
• Positive mindset towards safety and quality.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong problem-solving and organisational abilities.
• Flexibility to work within a 5-shift system.
