Maintenance Supervisor (Mon –Fri, 7am – 3.30pm)

Basedin the Lisburn area my client is a global manufacturer who are one of theleading employers in the area. They are a large employer who operate on aglobal basis and are currently seeking to recruit for an experiencedMaintenance Supervisor who will be responsible for a team of multi skilled MaintenanceEngineers. They have not had a vacancy at this level for a considerable numberof years, so it is a great opportunity to join their team. On offer is asalary of £40,000 - £46,200, 33 holidays, pension, death in service,sick pay, private healthcare and subsidised canteen.

Role – MaintenanceSupervisor

·Delegate and supervise the work of maintenancepersonnel on a daily basis. Providetechnical back-up and guidance as necessary.

·Provide assistance in terms of personnel andtechnical support to shift maintenance squads during major breakdownsituations.

·Co-ordinate and supervise work required on plantand machinery with respect to machine upgrade projects and health and safetyneeds.

·Provide feedback to the Lean Engineer regardingimprovement ideas and identify areas of weakness.

·Procurement of parts as required and creation ofstock items.

Person – Maintenance Supervisor

·An HND or equivalent in Engineering (mechanical,electrical or manufacturing)

·2 years’ experience of working in a maintenancerole in a manufacturing setting

·Experience of managing a team
