We are seeking for a experienced Technical Team Leader who will advise, mentor, coach and set goals and targets for the Maintenance and Weld Tech teams and be supervising a team of up to of 15 Technical Team members
As a Technical Team Leader, your tasks will be:
- To lead a multi-disciplined Maintenance Team including weld technicians to ensure delivery of functional KPIs which contribute to the supply function meeting its productivity, quality and cost targets.
- Complies with all company policies, procedures, and guidelines
- Responsibility for all manufacturing maintenance activity and for a number of direct reports dependent on area of responsibility
- Responsibility for investigations and disciplinary processes as required
- Ensure all items of plant and equipment are maintained to the appropriate standards to ensure performance is safe
- Ensure a culture of Continuous Improvement is embedded throughout the Maintenance and Weld Tech teams
- Benchmark maintenance performance and standards internal and external parties for improvement
- Liaise with Maintenance manager and maintain control of expenditure within the budget
As a Technical Team Leader, you should already have:
- ONC/HNC or Equivalent with Electronics/ Electrical or Engineering background
- 3-5 work experience in similar role
- Knowledge of CMMS systems including SAP
- To communicate effectively at all levels
- Have the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Working knowledge of Health and Safety ideally IOSH or NEBOSH
