Maintenance Engineer

We have excellent opportunities for Machine Line Technicians to join a successful FMCG Returnables company based in County Dublin, offering hands-on experience in robotics and automation, and development of your knowledge in these areas.

The primary role of the Machine Line Technician will be to ensure a continuous and stable level of production from our fully automated washing machine, through the guidance of the facility engineer and by ensuring equipment is in good working order and properly maintained.

Responsibilities :

Working as part of the operations/maintenance team, repair and maintenance of production processing equipment, to include emergency breakdown repairs, preventative/predictive maintenance and ongoing day-to-day troubleshooting, fault finding, root cause analysis and technical interventions.

Completion of production, equipment and maintenance logs.

Continuous improvement of production process equipment.

There will be ongoing training and development on relevant aspects of on-site automation this role is suited to someone who is looking to develop in their role and move up the ladder.

Must Have:

A mechanical/electrical maintenance qualification or have completed a full apprenticeship
Ability to demonstrate hands on experience and strong understanding of working and repairing all or some of the following areas: Pneumatics, hydraulics, automation, robotics and conveyor driven production lines
Competent working with electrical systems - have hands on work experience in past roles.
Experience working in the food manufacturing industry. (Not essential but is good to have
