Our client is a very successful manufacturing business and Staffbase have been appointed to recruit for the position of Maintenance Technician.
You will be responsible for undertaking planned and reactive maintenance at a busy factory near Burnley. The Role:
Reporting to the Engineering Manager you will be responsible for planned and reactive mechanical and some electrical maintenance covering a range automated machinery.
Duties will include but is not limited to the following;
- Maintenance, service and repair of CNC milling and cutting machinery, welding machines and more
- Pneumatics, pumps, motors, gearboxes, bearings etc etc
- 3-phase electrical fault find and repair
- Facilities maintenance
Candidate:
We are seeking experienced mechanical / electrical engineer with a good machinery maintenance and repair background.You will have excellent electrical & mechanical fault find and repair skills.Must have a recognised mechanical and /or electrical engineering qualification NVQ 3, HND or apprentice trained.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday days 40 hours
