We currently have a great opportunity for 3 Major Works Project Managers to join us on a Permanent basis.
As a Major Works Project Manager, you will manage the delivery of planned investment programmes and provide leadership of contractors and consultants. To effectively manage partnered and JCT contractors and consultants, procuring additional works contracts and staff resources where necessary. Proactively manage budgets exceeding £5m per annum.
Some of the key results for the role include:
- Effectively and proactively leading, managing and motivating project teams, ensuring that there is a culture of high performance, strong engagement and a commitment to continual improvement.
- Establishing and implementing effective working arrangements & practices to ensure a consistent level of service delivery in line with the Peabody business plan.
- Supporting the Programme Manager and the consultants to prepare, monitor and deliver budgets for specific projects in line with the delivery plan and ensure value for money from all areas of delivery
- Keeping abreast of the internal and external environment to ensure compliance and best practice are adhered to.
- Ensuring the provision of excellent customer service and experience to all stakeholders in order to maximise customer satisfaction.
This role will require a UK driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.
A minimum of 1 to 2 days working in the Westminster Bridge Road office is required.
