We are looking to recruit a full team of experienced, highly motivated, and proactive Male* Support Workers and/or bank staff, to work in the Blundellsands area of Crosby. Our client currently resides in a Rehab Facility in Speke and will be discharged into his fully adapted home with his family in December 2023. The team will be pivotal in supporting our client with the transitional phase home, whilst supporting his family.
Meet our client:
I am a 43-year-old male. I have a severe brain injury following an RTA as such my behaviour can sometimes be unpredictable, especially around new people as I can be anxious until I get to know you properly. Once I am familiar with people, I have a great sense of humour and enjoy having ‘banta’ and like to wind people up and play pranks on them with the help of my young son.
I have two children a son who has autism and ADHD and a daughter, they are everything to me, and are my main motivation for my rehabilitation programme.
I like playing board games, going out on trips to the zoo, bowling, amusement arcades, for walks down the beach and also walking my pet dog. I also used to be a ‘Chef’ prior to my brain injury and with your support I cannot wait to start cooking and baking again. I enjoy baking with my children, I tell them to hurry up so I can eat what we have created (I am not very patient).
I love listening to music, I’m a big ‘Pink Floyd’ fan and other artists I like are the Beatles, Fleetwood Mac, Phil Collins, Dire Straits, Paul Weller and Santana. My stereo system is my pride and joy. I like going to music concerts and I will dance in my chair I will grab your hand and make you dance also. I enjoy watching comedy shows one of my favourites on Netflix is shameless and I like watching live football on the TV especially my favourite team Liverpool Football Club.
