Cpl Healthcare in collaboration with our client RCHNZ a leading Imaging provider in New Zealand are looking for experienced Mammographers to join their team based in New Zealand.

Role of Mammographer: 

To provide efficient and high-quality patient-focused imaging for RCHNZ's services, specializing in Mammography. This may also include general medical imaging outside the Mammography modality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Produce diagnostic imaging of good quality within the ORS code of safe practice.
  • Perform imaging efficiently, ensuring timely delivery of results.
  • Record procedural information accurately in the Radiology Information System.
  • Deliver patient care in line with patient code of rights and relevant legislation.
  • Obtain informed consent for all procedures.
  • Maintain equipment in a safe and professional manner, complying with maintenance and QA processes.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and compliance with all governing legislation.
  • Ensure professional communication at all times, integrating RCHNZ ’s values into all procedures and services.
  • Health & Safety, Policy, and Compliance:
  • Comply with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Support initiatives for a healthy and safe working environment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures, including reporting and hazard management.
  • Adhere to all employment and health & safety legislative requirements.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Excellence in delivering patient care.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Continuous improvement focus and collaborative mindset.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written.

Qualifications Required:

  • Tertiary qualification.
  • Current radiography registration.
  • Post Graduate Diploma in Mammography (preferred).
