SalaryManagement Accountant
We are recruiting for a Management Accountant to join our Tamworth based client. You'll be responsible for assisting the finance department in preparing financial data for the Board and external sources on a monthly basis.
As a Management Accountant you will need to have/be:
- Prior experience in preparing management accounts
- Ideally be AAT or equivalent
- Excellent attention to detail, be able to concentrate and prioritise your workload and self manage your time
- Effective communication and organisational skills, ability to communicate at all levels throughout the business and collaborate across all departments
Details:
- Salary: £38, 000 - £40, 000
- Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week Monday - Friday
- Location: Tamworth (on site)
- Duration: Permanent
Role of Management Accountant:
- Preparation and analysis of monthly management accounts in a timely manner
- Reconciliation of control accounts/balance sheet accounts and chasing through any issues
- Assist with Profit and Loss analysis and any query relating there to
- Assistance with reconciling intercompany balances and loan accounts
- Preparation and filing of various ONS reports
- Reviewing of company credit card analysis and controls
- Preparation of monthly sales data for key customers
- Preparation of monthly rebate registers for the group including approving invoices for repayment to customers
- Assisting with general queries and analysis work
- Preparation of VAT returns and submission
- Support external auditors
- Additional support to accounts and credit control teams
- Support to all departments as required
