We are M3 Marketing the fastest-growing charity fundraising agency in the UK. We have created a unique "family culture" where our staff thrive and love the valuable work they do. We work in close partnership with Dogs Trust, the UK's largest dog welfare charity.
This varied role will suit a Qualified Accountant who is excited about a new challenge and keen to be a key player in M3 Marketing's growth strategy. The role reports directly to the CFO and is pivotal in implementing processes to streamline the finance function.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparing the individual and consolidated management accounts for all entities
- Heavily involved with budgeting and forecasting
- Responsible for accurate profit and loss and balance sheet reporting
- Reporting and analysis on variances to the budget to identify trends and areas for improvement
- Providing critical financial insights and analyses to support strategic decisions within the organisation
- Tracking financial performance, analysing data and assisting in the formulation of business strategies to enhance company profitability and efficiency
- Utilising MS Excel for the construction and maintenance of financial models
- Partnering and leading in the development of financial policies, procedures and internal controls
- Managing people, supporting and covering payroll and the CFO when on annual leave
- Supporting the CFO with Ad-hoc transactional duties and supporting the wider business as required
What we require from you
- Fully qualified accountant (CIMA/ACA)
- Working knowledge and experience in managing multiple company accounts
- Transactional payroll experience
- Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable to take the lead on initiatives
- Experienced in data analytics with advanced knowledge of MS Excel
- Working knowledge of SQL is advantageous
- Methodical accurate and able to meet deadlines
- A keen eye for detail and enjoy the challenge of working on ad-hoc projects
- Proven experience implementing policies and procedures
