Our client is looking to recruit a Junior Management Accountant who will be an integral part of the finance team in a high growth organisation and will present a great opportunity for anyone wanting to develop in their career. Reporting into the Finance Director you will support the Business by delivering accurate, on-time and compliant management accounts.
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant:
- Production of monthly management accounts for all Group companies to agreed timescales.
- Analytical review of the monthly trading results giving insights into potential profitability improvements. Using your experience, you will make connections between financial data and business performance using your commercial acumen, paying particular attention to sales and margin.
- Work with internal service group teams to help drive efficiencies and profitability using Key Performance Indicators.
- Streamline the production of monthly management and annual statutory accounts.
- Work closely with all stakeholders to produce financial budgets and forecasts.
- Manage all compliance and regulatory returns to Companies House and HMRC.
- Initiate and drive forward Business Improvement Initiatives across all areas of the business.
- Continuously seek opportunities to improve financial operating procedures.
- Manage the supplier and partner network to maintain a strong supply chain.
- Finalist or fully qualified with a recognised professional body and will have the relevant experience to hit the ground running in a growing business.
- A team player comfortable working at a strategic level at the same time as ensuring the integrity of the underlying data.
