Full Time Starting Salary: £33,962 per annum
Are you commercially minded with a proven ability to support leaders make informed financial decisions?
We are looking to appoint a Management Accountant to join our respected central team at this exciting time at the Trust. Reporting to the Director of Finance, you will be responsible for providing valuable financial information to optimise financial performance and assist with achieving the Trust's strategic objectives.
Main responsibilities:
- Working with our leaders to guide and support with annual budgeting and medium-term financial planning, create monthly management accounts and forecast, monitor and control expenses
- Reporting on metrics and KPIs and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Conducting monthly reconciliation to ensure accurate alignment of financial records
The successful applicant will:
- Have a strong track record within the management accounting role
- Have a full Professional Accountancy qualification
- A good knowledge of requirements of schools/academies and the Education Skills and Funding Authority
- Have the ability to work positively in a rapidly changing environment
