We are seeking a Management Accountant to join our Accounts team and play a pivotal role in overseeing financial transactions, including month and year-end reporting, and the production of management accounts. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic, confident, and well-organised individual with previous finance experience.

• Oversee the daily operations of the finance department.
• Manage a team of three accounts assistants, providing support and clear guidance.
• Handle coding of ad hoc purchase invoices, sales invoices, and processing of business expenses.
• Manage weekly cash flows and bank account reconciliations.
• Create and input journals into the nominal ledger.
• Conduct intercompany invoicing and reconciliation.
• Reconcile and recharge expenses.
• Prepare monthly accounts and control the Balance Sheet, including monthly reconciliations.
• Maintain the Fixed Assets register.
• Support the external auditing process and control standard costs for materials.

• Previous experience in a finance role.
• Well-organised, self-motivated, and able to work on your own initiative.
• Excellent time management skills with a flexible approach to prioritise workload.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Qualified or part-qualified to CIMA or ACCA is preferred but not essential.
