Management Accountant - Ford Northampton

Allen Motor Group are currently looking to employ a Management Accountant to join our Ford dealership in Northampton. The role is to proved daily/weekly/monthly departmental financial analysis, including the production of the monthly management accounts for a CMA, covering multiple sites. The position is offered on a 37.5-hour week, Monday – Friday, paying up to £35,000 DOE and will report to the Senior Management Accountant.

Do I need experience?
To be considered for this position we would require candidates to have previous finance and accounts experience, the other key attributes and skills we look for are:
Strong excel skills – use of vlookups/xlookups/pivots
Being able to work quickly whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy and quality
Previous motor trade accounts experience would be highly beneficial
Previous experience with Kerridge would be very advantageous
Key Duties and Responsibilities
To produce regular and management accounts within the company deadlines
To be responsible for collating and checking weekly departmental forecasts
Prepare and submit manufacturer composites
Assist with internal and external auditors particularly at the end of the year
Month end balance sheet reconciliations
Work to create a supportive environment for all departmental managers & encourage communication for any financial matters.
