Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per annum

About Us: Join our client’s team, a close-knit and friendly environment known for its family atmosphere. They are looking for a part-qualified Management Accountant to support their financial operations for a contract period of 3 to 6 months, with the potential for the role to become permanent.

Job Description:

As a Management Accountant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the financial health and efficiency of the organisation.

Your primary responsibilities will include:

• Spreadsheet Modelling: Develop and maintain complex financial models using Excel to support various financial analyses and decision-making processes.
• Analysis of Accounts: Conduct detailed analyses of accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance with financial regulations and organisational policies.
• Analysis of Budgets: Examine budget data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and efficiency improvements.
• Analysis of Overhead Spend: Monitor and analyse overhead expenditures, providing insights and recommendations to manage costs effectively.
• Budget and Cash Modelling: Create and manage budget models and cash flow forecasts to support strategic planning and financial stability.
• Balance Sheet Reconciliations: Perform thorough balance sheet reconciliations to ensure all financial transactions are accurately recorded and discrepancies are resolved in a timely manner.
• Building Financial Models: Construct robust financial models to support various business scenarios and strategic initiatives.
• Data Analysis: Analyse financial data to provide actionable insights and support decision-making processes across the organisation.

Qualifications:

• Part-qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• Strong Excel skills with experience in advanced spreadsheet modelling
• Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, and accounting
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Effective communication skills to present financial information clearly
