Management Accountant - Part Qualified

Advancing People - Recruitment Specialists are now recruiting for a Part-Qualified Management Accountantfor their client based in Bedford, Bedfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to join an established and forward-thinking company that offers an array of valuable and specialist services across the country.

The purpose of this role is to support the Financial Controller in the creation and presentation of the monthly accounts as well as to analyse financial data by collecting, monitoring and creating reports and financial models to enable effective decision making.

Key Responsibilities:

• To assist with producing monthly Management accounts
• Preparation of journals, accruals and prepayments and overseeing all P&L accounts
• Reconciliation of balance sheet accounts on a quarterly basis
• Involvement in the preparation of quarterly VAT return
• Maintenance of the cashflow forecast on a daily basis.
• Assisting with year end and statutory accounts
• Support other members of the team when required.

Person Specification:

• Part-Qualified CIMA/ACCA and/or full AAT qualification or relevant experience.
• Ability to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• Organised, analytical and have good attention to detail.
• The ideal candidate must have a can-do attitude, be able to adapt and have a positive mindset to change.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated with a high level of enthusiasm and commitment

This is a full-time permanent position offering an attractive basic salary of up to £35,000 with attractive company benefits

This position offers flexibility to work remotely / Work from home 3 days a week - Hybird Working Model
