Job Title:Management Accountant

Location: Stourport-on-Severn

Salary: Up to £35,000 per annum

My client is a leading manufacturing company based in Stourport-on-Severn, committed to delivering high-quality products to their customers. As part of growth, we are seeking an experienced Management Accountant to join a dynamic finance team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
• Analyze financial performance and provide insights to support business decision-making.
• Prepare and review annual budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Monitor and control costs to ensure they stay within budgeted levels.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts and resolve any discrepancies.
• Assist with year-end audit and tax compliance.
• Provide financial support to other departments and assist with ad-hoc financial analysis as required.
• Prepare and submit VAT returns and other statutory filings.
• Adhere to tight deadlines and ensure timely and accurate completion of financial tasks.
• Continuously improve financial processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Management Accountant, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
