Management Accountant

Management Accountant – Basingstoke (hybrid) – Paying up to £50,000

Wade Macdonald are working in collaboration with a fantastic growing organisation based in Basingstoke to help them hire their new Management Accountant position.

This exciting role will join a large Finance team and work closely with colleagues in Management Accounting, the Finance Business Partners and Financial Controllers, as the team work across the group with other teams across the organisation, providing essential support and analysis.

Responsibilities of Management Accountant:

• Maintain the accounts for all entities, in line with UK GAAP and reporting under IFRS Standards
• Preparation of monthly management account, supporting with tax and VAT filings
• Providing commentary on variance analysis between budget and actual
• Implement process improvements and processes, driving efficiency
• Submission of monthly accounts in a timely manner
• Close liaison with Corporate Tax teams
• Balance sheet reconciliations

Skills and experience required of Management Accountant:

• Ideally a Part Qualified / Certified Accountant (not essential)
• Ideally Graduate or Post Graduate Qualification
• SAP Experience preferential
• Strong financial and business acumen
• Knowledge of local regulatory and accounting regulations
