The post holder is responsible for providing and developing performance reports, managing stakeholder requirements, ensuring delivery against key priorities, and progressing key programmes of technical data development with external providers.
The key tasks of the roles are:
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Support colleagues and analysts to ensure they have the Management Information and reports they need at the right time to manage provider performance,
- Answer ad-hoc questions including Parliamentary Questions and Freedom of Information requests in a consistent and timely manner,
- Ensure reports are robust, consistent, insightful, and presented clearly.
Data: Ensure data from providers is ingested into the department and stored in an efficient and secure way, challenge, query, and probe to ensure that data is robust.
Deliver efficiencies: Develop the data process to move towards Power-BI and a more efficient self-service solution for customers. Identify and deliver areas for improvement in performance reporting and data management.
Building understanding: Help stakeholders to understand and get the most from the data, providing upskilling and support as and when required.
Management: Manage a small team of Higher Executive Officers, to deliver the work of the team, ensure staff are aware of and delivering their responsibilities, support staff with their development and progression.
