The Depot Operations Manager reports to the Regional Operations Manager. They will be responsible for the welfare of the drivers and the day to day running of the depot.
The Depot Operations Manager is responsible for delivering the depot KPIs which include carrying out depot inspections, depot security, driver debrief and first stage investigations for all incidents.
Location : Redruth Depot, UK
The ideal candidate should have previous experience as a Transport Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Ensure depots are operating to the correct HSE standards
- Depot inspections.
- Driver management.
- Driver debrief.
- Incident management.
- Assist with production and maintenance of risk assessments.
- Depot stock count and ordering of equipment/sundries.
- Ensure driver infringements are managed effectively and drivers comply to Working Time Directive regulations.
- Ensure depots are operating to the correct EU tachograph regulations.
- Manage contractors on site along with issuing permit to work.
- Work with Transport to ensure fleet availability.
- Driving and delivery of fuel as scheduled.
- Hybrid role, driving and office based
- Operate in accordance with the Depot Operating Manual.
Qualifications
- LGV C or C+E category license.
- ADR .
- CPC driver card
- Digital tachograph card.
