We have an exciting opportunity to join #TeamEMR as a 222 Fleet Contracts Manager.

The 222 Fleet Contracts Manager will manage all aspects of the Hitachi Class 222 Train Services Agreement (222 TSA), Alstom Class 222 Technical Support & Spares Supply Agreement (222 TSSSA) with the third-party supplier to ensure effective service delivery against the requirements of the contract. You will also be required to manage the above performance regimes, warranties, variation orders and additional contract services to ensure value for money and to minimise costs.
The 222 Fleet Contracts Manager is responsible for;
- Manage the day-to-day requirements and administration of the 222 TSA and 222 TSSSA on behalf of EMR.
- Manage the safety obligations of EMR in relation to the 222 TSA and 222 TSSSA including assurance processes and audit recommendation close out.
- Responsible for improving the performance, reliability, train presentation and availability of the 222 fleet.
- Lead and manage the relationships between suppliers and EMR to ensure safe and efficient operation and service delivery.
- Liaise closely with the Class 810 project team to effectively develop integrated plans for the introduction of the 810 fleet and Hitachi 810 TSA alongside the cascade of the 222 fleet out of EMR.
- Liaise closely with the Commercial Manager to extend the Class 222 lease and 222 TSSSA if necessary to take account of the cascade options in the most cost-efficient manner possible.

- Provide reports to key stakeholders as required on safety/performance related incidents or deficiencies in fleet availability.
- Responsible for driving up performance and extracting the maximum value for money from the 222 TSA and TSSSA contracts within associated budgets.
Key Skills & Experience
- Good technical knowledge of modern diesel multiple unit fleets to build good working relationships with suppliers.
- Good experience of Depot working environments and rolling stock maintenance practices.
- Excellent contract management and commercial knowledge and skills, including large train services agreements.
- Excellent written, verbal, numerical and IT skills
- Effective communication with multiple stakeholders. Proven ability in developing strong working relationships with all stakeholders. Proven experience of collaborative working with third parties.
- Extensive experience of contract negotiation coupled with a high degree of commercial business acumen to deliver a strong commercial position for EMR.
- It would be advantageous to have experience in production management techniques including Six Sigma, 8D analysis and ISO 9001 processes.
- Experience of project management within an engineering environment.
