In this pivotal role, you will:
- Lead multiple projects concurrently: Masterfully manage budgets, timelines, resources, and risks, proactively mitigating challenges to ensure smooth project execution.
- Command contract administration: Negotiate, review, and execute contracts with precision, guaranteeing adherence to terms, regulations, and best practices.
- Be the financial expert: Vigilantly monitor project costs, identify and manage variances, and prepare accurate reports for informed decision-making.
- Cultivate strong client relationships: Build trust and transparency through proactive communication and timely address of concerns.
- Mentor and empower your team: Lead and guide Contracts and Site Managers, providing invaluable guidance, support, and performance management.
- Contribute to bid management: Assist in crafting winning tenders and proposals, ensuring technical accuracy, cost-competitiveness, and client-aligned solutions.
- Leverage your technical expertise: Possess a deep understanding of roofing and cladding systems, construction methods, and relevant legislation. Share your knowledge during design phases to ensure buildability adheres to best practices.
- Communicate with clarity: Effectively engage with all stakeholders, both internally and externally, providing clear and concise information.
To excel in this role, you possess:
- 5+ years of experience as a Senior Contracts Manager in the roofing and cladding sector.
- A proven track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
- Exceptional commercial and financial acumen.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to thrive in both independent and collaborative settings.
- CPCS qualifications and experience in relevant roofing and cladding systems preferred.
