We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Digital Commerce
Department overview:
Established in 2016 the Digital department has undergone rapid expansion as it strives to deliver an aggressive roadmap alongside equally aggressive revenue aspirations.
The brand is committed to delivering global revenues of €0.5bn from digital and channels over the next few years. Central to that growth is the Digital Commerce team located in London (UK), which currently manages eight localized transactional websites, servicing 50 countries (and growing) including the UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Australia, Singapore, India, UAE, South Africa and more.
Who You Are:
A highly commercial, detail-oriented person with strong organization, communication, and management skills, able to work well to deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
What You’ll Do:
The primary purpose of the role is to maximize sales and visitor conversion across all Michael Kors EMEA sites and channels via effective site merchandising, content planning, and detailed analysis for your section of categories.
Working in a fast-paced, international environment, the role will be hands-on with a great deal of autonomy and responsibility, and as such challenging but simultaneously rewarding.
  • Report Daily/Weekly against site metrics and key KPIs, ensuring actions can be taken each week to drive incremental conversion and therefore sales opportunity.
  • Define and implement site merchandising strategies based on collective evaluations of defined KPIs, to agreed timescales.
  • Complete weekly audits to ensure the highest standards of excellence and optimized performance across all sites/channels.
  • Effectively manage all product upload activities for the websites working with the US product team to ensure the timely flow and flow of data is delivered via the PIM tool. Track and communicate product setup status for each launch.
  • Proactively develop and maintain an effective working relationship with the US web merchandising team and web production teams. Ensure a clear and consistent flow of communication. Continually collaborate, share best practices, and identify conversion-driving opportunities. Ensure EU considerations are fully understood and considered in all global discussions and decisions.
  • Build close relationships with the buying team to gain a strong understanding of product strategy and contribute to preseason strategy with opportunities to drive growth.
  • Own and manage the e-commerce content calendar for each e-commerce site. Ensure the planner is completed promptly and all changes and updates are aligned with and communicated to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain a critical path for delivering all MD and promotional activities. Ensure product, content, and site presentation are planned and executed to a high standard.
  • Maximise site performance by managing day-to-day activities and longer-term strategy working closely with the Senior Optimisation Manager to ideate and propose AB tests to enhance the customer journey and drive product discovery, cart additions, and CVR.
  • Manage the creative briefs for site content including site refreshes, special projects, microsites, sales/promotions, editorial content, and support with content for A/B tests.
  • Manage Concession and marketplace relationships and the Concession Co-Ordinator to ensure products are loaded and displayed on partner sites following the critical path and brand content and events are delivered promptly.
  • Manage the cross-functional management of the customer experience with a continuous review of improvement opportunities across all aspects of the user journey and user experience.
  • Produce in-depth seasonal, post-event, and ad hoc analysis of all site key activities, identifying actionable insights.
  • Overseeing Site Merchandiser & Coordinators.
You’ll Need to Have:
  • 4-5 years of experience in an e-commerce site merchandising role ideally within an international retail environment
  • A degree or equivalent experience in a relevant subject area
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills
  • Advanced skillset for extracting and utilizing data from a web metrics tool (Ideally Adobe Omniture)
  • Experience managing e-commerce toolsets such as Reflektion (recommendation tool), Dynamic Yield, Endeca, and Salesforce (desirable) an advantage.
  • Strong PC Skills – Advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint.
